NCC Cadets of MRCSSS Complete Maiden Firing Practice

On 30 April , 58 cadets of MRCSSS, in the process of NCC training conducted firing on the Police Short Ranges in Mehsana. The practice was organised and executed by 7th Bn NCC at Mehsana, who are in charge of all NCC training in the district.
The cadets were familiarised with the 0.22 rifle, and dry practice conducted for them, as it was the first firing for all of them, none having handled a fire arm before. Then they fired three rounds each. It was an exhilarating experience for them, and excitement was visible. They exhibited a very high level of discipline and were quick to learn, surprising the instructors. The Director, Principal and teachers were also present and encouraged the young cadets. We thank 7 th Bn NCC for having organised the event, and Mehsana Police for having allowed us to utilise the range.
